前两天刚刚说完BlogUpp!外观小改变，但是没有看到功能有可观的变化，今天早上打开邮箱就看到了来自BlogUpp!团队的邮件。邮件里说到了BlogUpp!团队一直在开发一些新功能，除了外观上的小改变外，现在你也可以用OpenID登陆查看你的网站数据啦！

于是Chada马上就投入到这项新功能的体验中。记得当初在推广的时候，很多博客都在自己的介绍中提到了这么一点，如何保证BlogUpp!所说的10:9的交换率，即他人的博客在自己博客的挂件上显示10次，自己的博客就在他人博客上出现9次。有了这个查看数据，一目了然了。

进入BlogUpp!首页之后，点击右上方的stats进入OpenID登陆界面，这里需要使用以你的博客网址为OpenID才能登陆，这也是为了匹配博客的数据。Chada将在下一篇文章介绍如何把博客地址变为一个OpenID。

网站数据统计分为两部分：

一是曲线图

BlogUpp!网站数据的曲线图有三个可选时间段，过去一周[Last week]、过去一个月[Last month]、所有时间段[All the time]。曲线图上可以很清晰地看出自己的博客在其他博客上展示的走势。

二是详细数据

分为内部展示[Outbound promotion]和外部展示[Inbound promotion]两部分，内部展示[Outbound promotion]指自己博客上的挂件展示他人博客的数据，外部展示[Inbound promotion]则是指自己的博客在他人博客上展示的数据。

在这两部分下还分展示次数[Impressions]和贡献/获得访问量[Visits sent/received]两项数据统计，可以从这些数字中得出详细的数据。

Chada因为为BlogUpp!翻译了简体和繁体中文界面获得了111K次展示数，如果你也想获得奖励展示数，可以在你的博客上写一篇关于BlogUpp!的介绍，然后发邮件反馈给BlogUpp!团队。

We thank you again, and we’d like you to know that we appreciate your contribution with Chinese translation, and the growth of community. Because of that, we think that it’s important to keep you updated with our recent changes, and with what has been keeping us busy.

We are constantly considering all the feedback received from the community, in order to determine what we can do better, and which are the most requested improvements. We concluded that most requested was to provide access to BlogUpp! own statistics, so that bloggers could follow-up how many times their blogs gets shown in the community, and the clicks they receive. That’s also for more transparency and more confidence in the service.

In order to keep the service easy to use, and still with no signup, we’ve recently finished integration with OpenID, and now all the bloggers can easily check their BlogUpp! stats, and at the same time benefit of other OpenID advantages. Besides, we’ve been focusing on increasing the quality and BlogUpp! value for the bloggers using the widget, and to encourage more clicks to their blogs. That is in fact something not visible by the community, but which requires efforts and time. The only visible thing, that you’ve probably noticed already, is the change of the middle part of the widget. That is a small change, meant to make it interactive, intuitive and clear for everyone that under the images shown in the widget there is also an extract from latest blog posts. This way the readers have a bigger change to get aware of your blog and post shared in blogosphere, and visit your blog for details.

Of course we have in mind the improvements that we’ve discussed about in our previous emails, and as per their priorities, we’ll work on them too. We can’t tell specifically when they will be available; that mainly depends on how many bloggers will be requesting them, comparing to other features.

Concerning the texts on our main site, to make the things more precise, the expression: “For every 10 readers of your blog, it gets shown to 9 readers on other blogs”, it would be more appropriate to replace with “For every 10 blogs shared in your widget, your blog gets shown to 9 readers on other blogs”. This derives from the actual 10:9 exchange ratio, and sounds more fair and attractive. We’ve updated the English description and we’d like to kindly ask you update in the attached documents only the Chinese text in the sections marked in red (2 sentences), and send them back to us.
